World Blood Donor Day 2023

Our first annual celebration of World Blood Donor Day was a huge success! We are so excited to share some statistics from our month long event with you!

Blood drives were hosted in 17 cities, 14 states/provinces, and 3 countries! We hope to double these numbers at next year's event!

Over 200 units of blood and platelets were collected! This means that over 600 lives could be saved!

More than 40 first time donors attended our drives! Inspiring new donors and increasing the donor pool is so important to the HDFN community!

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the families who co-hosted these drives with us as well as the community businesses and organizations who allowed the drive's to take place at their locations!

We would also like to thank the numerous blood donation centers who joined us on this first venture and worked with all of our blood drives, both big and small. Your kindness and generosity as we undertook this first year has left us with so much hope for the future!
