Every October.
One Month. Countless Miles. One Life-Saving Mission.
This isn’t just a 5K. It’s a movement.
Run Allo The Way is the Maternal Alloimmunization Foundation’s month-long running and walking challenge to raise awareness for maternal alloimmunization and Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn (HDFN). Whether you’re logging one mile or one hundred, every step honors the babies and families affected by this rare but serious condition and helps us push for a world where no baby is harmed or lost to HDFN.
Why We Run
- We run for the babies who spent their first days under lights.
- We run for the parents who faced high-risk pregnancies with courage and grief.
- We run for better answers, better care, and more hope.
Maternal alloimmunization is rare, but the stakes are high. Your steps help us provide education, support, and advocacy to prevent newborn complications and loss, and to make sure no family faces this alone.
How It Works:
- Choose Your Goal: Set your own mileage target — run a 5K, log 30 miles in 30 days, or go even further.
- Run, Walk, or Move: Anywhere, anytime. On your own or with a team.
- Fundraise: Create a personal or team fundraising page and ask friends and family to support your miles.
- Share Your Story: Post your progress on social media with #RunAlloTheWay. Honor a baby, raise awareness, and inspire others to join.
This challenge is open to anyone — parents, kids, runners, walkers, stroller-pushers, NICU nurses, doctors and friends. You don’t need to be an athlete. You just need to care.
What You Get:
